DESCRIPTION: EPW - Vauchez a Paris, verge fusee, 40mm, 18K rose gold (tested) original OF case with exquisite polychrome enameled rear of a woman playing a lyre while seated in an idyllic garden with fountain and pond, green gold detail to bezel and rear perimeter, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 2, KWKS, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, s#639. Gross weight of assembled watch 28.5 dwt (44.4 g).
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, excellent gilt tone, plate with some scratches and marring around pillar positions, few fine scratches elsewhere, some small areas of haze to gilt tone; excellent dial with small curved perimeter hl at 7, infinitesimal pinpoint nick to upper-right rim of winding aperture hole; nearly mint hands; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, rear enameling is fully intact and with notably vibrant color, some mild fine scratches; tight bow; domed glass crystal with numerous scratches with majority around center.
